When is The Power Season 1 finale on Prime Video?

The Power series premiere is almost here. This is another Amazon series that’s getting a weekly release on Prime Video. When will the finale air?

We’re getting closer and closer to the new Amazon series, The Power. It’s based on the 2016 book of the same name by Naomi Alderman and follows teenage girls suddenly getting the ability to control electricity.

This is a genetic ability. There’s no way to get rid of it. Of course, the world goes into a panic, especially when all women start to develop the abilities. How will the men possibly react to women having these powers? Granted, some of the women are using their abilities for bad, but not everyone is going to do that.

This is a series that’s getting a hybrid release. The first three episodes will drop at once, and then we’ll get one episode per week.

The Power Season 1 finale release date on Prime Video

Those who like a binge-watch will want to wait for the finale to drop. Even if you want to watch weekly, you’ll want to know when the show comes to an end so you can binge-watch it all and see what you missed the first time.

Amazon has set the finale date. We’ll get to see The Power Season 1 finale on Friday, May 12.

For those in North America, there is a good chance that the episode will drop on Thursday, May 11. As we know, the global releases happen at midnight UK time, which means we get episodes around 7 p.m. ET in North America. There’s no guarantee of this happening, but it happens more times than it doesn’t.

This isn’t billed as a limited series just yet. We’ll have to see if Amazon decides to renew it.

The Power premieres on Friday, March 31 on Prime Video.
