There was a good amount of change on the list of most read Amazon books last week, including a new book in the No. 1 spot.

Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus has had the No. 1 spot for a while. Now there’s a change. After Things We Hide from the Light by Lucy Score entered just last week, it’s not too surprising to see that it’s moved up the list.

It got into the top spot, knocking Lessons in Chemistry down a spot. The rest of the Top 5 remained the same, with the Harry Potter books not moving at all.

One new addition to the list

There was movement further down the list, with a couple of Harry Potter books moving up. Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score dropped a spot, but she holds onto a Top 10 place. It was Colleen Hoover’s It Ends with Us that dropped out of the Top 10 after losing four spots on the list.

Meanwhile, The Housemaid’s Secret by Freida McFadden gained three spots to get into the Top 15 comfortably. We’re sure to see that move up with how popular McFadden’s books are.

There was one new addition to the list during the week. Burner by Mark Greaney joined the list in 18th place. It was a new book on the list of most sold Amazon books the previous week, so this isn’t that surprising. It meant more changed to the bottom of the list, although Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Finney Boylan continues to hold 20th place.
