We have waited patiently for the Luther followup movie, and now it’s available to stream. Where can you watch Luther: The Fallen Sun online?

With the way things ended for Luther at the end of the previous season, we’ve waited for a follow-up season or movie. The time has come. Idris Elba is back, and this story is going to look very different from all the rest.

Luther is stuck behind bars as a disgraced detective while London faces yet another serial killer terrorizing its streams. This cyber psycho is one who Luther failed to catch before, and that haunts him now.

Of course, Luther isn’t just going to sit idly be waiting for someone else to do the job he failed to do. He will get out of prison to take care of it himself, even if it means finding a way to break himself out.

Is Luther: The Fallen Sun on Prime Video?

Of course, you want to watch the movie right away. It is streaming online, but there’s some bad news for Prime members. This is not a movie available to stream on Prime Video.

Luther: The Fallen Sun is a Netflix Original Movie. The only place to stream it online is on Netflix, and that’s likely where it will stay. It’s going to take something big to happen to Netflix and Amazon for the two to combine.

Is Luther: The Fallen Sun on Amazon Video?

What about a Digital release? Could we see the movie come to Amazon Instant Video to buy? This is possible but unlikely.

Netflix doesn’t like to make its content available outside of its streaming service. That takes people away from subscribing. There are the odd times we see Digital releases, but I doubt we’ll see that here.

We could see it come to DVD and Blu-ray, though. The previous seasons of Luther have made it to physical disc as it is a BBC series in the UK. This could mean the movie gets the same treatment for the fans who like to have the physical copies.
