Reacher Season 2 is not coming to Prime Video in March 2023

There are a few shows we’re looking forward to watching, and Reacher Season 2 is one of them. What do we know about the premiere date?

It’s been a long wait for Reacher Season 2. Not as long as some other shows, but still a long wait. It’s just over a year since the first season arrived and we got the very quick renewal decision from Amazon.

Filming for the season didn’t start until September 2022, though. It shouldn’t be too surprising then to find out that the show isn’t on the list of March releases. The big question is just how much longer will we need to wait?

When will Reacher Season 2 premiere on Prime Video?

It’s hard to make a guess right now. The good news is production wrapped at on Feb. 24. Now the show is in post-production, which can take at least six months to complete.

There is a chance that we won’t see the season until the backend of 2023. That would make sense with September 2022 being the start of production on the season. We’re not too worried about the show’s popularity, though. This already had a huge following from the book series, and the show has proven to be a great adaptation, much like the Jack Ryan adaptation starring John Krasinski.

When the show does premiere, we’re expecting a hybrid release like the first season. Amazon is moving into these weekly releases, with some shows getting one episode a week and others dropping in blocks. The weekly releases allows time for people to find out new seasons are available to watch and quickly catch up and then stay on top of releases, boosting the ratings.
