DVD releases happening this week: Women Talking and more
Women Talking is one of the DVD releases happening this week. It is a quiet week for sure, but here’s everything that you can buy on DVD and Blu-ray.
It’s a very quiet week when it comes to DVD releases. That doesn’t mean there isn’t anything to buy, nor does it mean it’s a quiet month. Things will pick up later in March when it comes to movies and TV shows to own at home.
So, what can you get this week? There are two releases to buy and add to your DVD collection.
Women Talking and Christmas Bloody Christmas
The biggest of the two releases is Women Talking. The movie follows how female solidarity can help women rise up in the face of violence and oppression. We’ve seen it in the past, and we see it again here.
When a group of Mennonite women are sexually assaulted by their sect of men, they could just remain silent. In fact, that’s what they do at first. However, they then end up joining together to form a secret council to get the justice they deserve.
More in the mood for horror? Christmas Bloody Christmas is the release to buy. This movie follows Tori, a record store owner who just wants to spend Christmas Eve night drinking and partying. However, when a toy store’s Santa Claus comes alive and starts to wreak havoc on the town, Tori has to find a way to unplug him before it’s too late.
Can she save the town from the murderous Santa? Will she get to have the Christmas Eve she dreamed of eventually?
