When is Operation Fortune coming to DVD and Blu-ray?
If you love Guy Ritchie films, you’ll want to check out the latest, Operation Fortune. When can you add the movie to your DVD collection?
People tend to either love or hate Guy Ritchie films. I’m not a fan, but I know plenty of people who are, and Operation Fortune looks like a very standard movie from the director. Jason Statham stars as Orson Fortune with Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, and Hugh Grant among the cast.
Orson is an elite spy hired to track down and stop Greg Simmons from selling deadly new weapons technology. He teams up with other great operatives around the world, albeit reluctantly. Now they need to recruit Danny Francesco, Hollywood’s biggest movie star to help save the world.
Operation Fortune DVD release date prediction
With the movie only just out in theaters, it won’t be surprising to hear that Operation Fortune doesn’t have a DVD release date just yet. We can look at movies from the same production studio to get an idea of the release. While this is an STX Film, it’s being distributed by Lionsgate, so we’re looking at Lionsgate movies to get an idea.
Alice, Darling and Plane are two movies from Lionsgate to look at. Both are taking about six weeks to go from theaters to DVD, and that’s what we’re expecting from this Guy Ritchie movie. That would suggest around Tuesday, April 18 or the week after.
What about a Digital release? It took two to three weeks from the theatrical release for both of these movies to head to Digital. We’re expecting something similar here, so we could see it head to Digital by the end of March.
Operation Fortune is currently available to watch in theaters.
