Are you ready for the final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel? No, we’re not either, but that doesn’t stop us wanting to know how it all comes to an end. We’re ready to see if Midge gets her name on the billboards or not.

It’s been a quiet wait for the new season. There is some great news, though. Mrs. Maisel Season 5 is heading to Prime Video on Friday, April 14.

Is this going to be a binge-watch? Sadly not. This isn’t like the first three seasons. Amazon is certainly helping to pull the subscribers to the series over the course of a few weeks.

The first three episodes of the season will drop at once on Friday, April 18. Then we’ll get to see one episode per week with the finale airing on Friday, May 26. There are going to be nine episodes in the season to complete Midge’s story.

There is some more bad news when it comes to the show. Luke Kirby is not returning as a series regularly. In fact, TVLine says that it’s not even clear if he will be in any of the episodes or if the Season 4 finale was his swan song. We know the real story of Lenny Bruce and it meets a heartbreaking end. Is it possible that Midge will find out about this through a phone call, pushing her to take his words more to heart than she originally did?

Alfie Fuller, Jason Ralph, and Reid Scott have been upped to series regulars for the final season.
