Is Daisy Jones and the Six a binge-watch or released weekly?
Prime Video subscribers will want to check out Daisy Jones and the Six later this week. Is the series dropping as one big binge-watch, or will it be released weekly?
Amazon is bringing us another big series. This is one that has been highly anticipated since it was announced in 2019, but things have been quiet about it. In fact, we worried that the series was canceled after a while, another casualty of the pandemic.
The good news is we’re getting the series very soon. The premiere airs on Friday, March 3. The big question for many is whether this is just one episode, or whether we’re getting the full series to binge-watch.
Daisy Jones and the Six release schedule
There is some bad news for those who want a full binge-watch. Amazon has decided to release this in a hybrid fashion. That shouldn’t be surprising considering just how big the series is. Amazon will want to spread out the content to give it the best chance of its audience finding it.
The first three episodes will be available on Friday, March 3. After that, Amazon is releasing the episodes in blocks.
Three more episodes will drop on Friday, March 10. Then there will be two episodes on March 17 and the final two on March 24, There are 10 episodes in total, so March 24 is when you’ll be able to binge-watch the entire series.
This is a miniseries. There isn’t going to be a second series. Of course, never say “never.” We’ve seen miniseries renewed before. Just look at Good Omens, which will bring its second season some time this summer. Daisy Jones and the Six is unlikely to be renewed as there isn’t even any unpublished sequels to the story unlike Good Omens.
Daisy Jones and the Six will be released in blocks on Fridays starting March 3 on Prime Video.
