Most read Amazon books last week: New J.B. Robb book enters

A new week brings a small amount of change to the list of most read Amazon books. The only new addition is one from J.D. Robb.

Nora Roberts writes thrillers under her pen name J.D. Robb. Her latest novel Encore in Death was the only new addition on the list of most read Amazon books. That’s not too surprising when you consider in the past how little this list has changed, but Roberts’s books under both her own name and her penname remain popular.

The new addition joined in 17th place. It’s hard to say if this will move up the list during the new week or not. We can see a mixture, and it will depend on what the most sold list looks like in a lot of cases.

Harry Potter books moving back up

Most of the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling climbed up the list. These remain popular with all ages, so it’s not surprising to see the books move upward. The only one to most down was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It dropped into third place as The Sorcerer’s Stone moved up two spots to claim second place.

The Goblet of Fire also moved up a spot to get into fourth place. It meant It Ends with Us dropped two places, just holding onto a Top 5 spot.

Further down the list, The Deathly Hallows and The Half-Blood Prince moved up a spot each, with Half-Blood Prince getting back into the Top 10. The Chamber of Secrets moved up to 14th place, while Prisoner of Azkaban held steady.
