Carnival Row Season 2 release schedule: When do new episodes come out?
The first episode of Carnival Row Season 2 drops on Prime Video this week. This is another weekly released show, and here’s its release schedule.
When the first season of Carnival Row dropped in 2019, all episodes arrived at once. It was a great binge-watch, but it may have benefitted from a weekly release format. That would have made the wait for Season 2 feel just a little shorter. Of course, nobody planned for the pandemic to delay so much!
Carnival Row Season 2 premieres on Friday, Feb. 17. The original statement was that we’d get episodes released weekly after the premiere dropped. This has changed with an updated press release. Amazon confirms that we’ll get two episodes each week instead of just the one!
With that in mind, we’re looking at the release happening very similar to Outer Banks and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Carnival Row Season 2 release schedule
The release schedule is set. There are 10 episodes to the season, so that means five weeks of new episodes of the series. Here’s a look at the release schedule:
Feb. 17: Episodes 1 and 2
Feb. 24: Episodes 3 and 4
March 3: Episodes 5 and 6
March 10: Episodes 7 and 8
March 17: Episodes 9 and 10
What to expect in Carnival Row Season 2
The Burgue saw a huge turn of events in the Season 1 finale. With the fae looking like a threat, they were ordered to Carnival Row. They’re not allowed to leave, and in the second season we see how they are ostracized and trodden down on.
That isn’t going to stop some of them from rising up. We know Vignette got involved with the Black Ravens in the first season. She’s still working with them as she tries to help the people of the Row. Now she needs to find a way to save them from far more than just the disease that’s killing them all.
Meanwhile, Philo is called in to help with a case that involves a murdered cop. Will he turn his back on his people to help those who abandoned him?
Carnival Row Season 2 airs weekly on Prime Video.
