Is Carnival Row Season 2 released weekly or a binge-watch?
Carnival Row Season 2 premieres on Friday, Feb. 17. The big question for a lot of fans is whether this is a binge-watch release or not.
After a three-and-a-half-year wait, we’re finally getting Carnival Row Season 2. This is the final season of the series, and we’re promised something big as the fae revolt against the humans in The Burgue.
The question for fans is whether this series is going to be released all at once. Is there really any need for us to wait for the episodes on a weekly basis? What is Amazon doing with the series?
Carnival Row Season 2 release schedule
There is some bad news for those who want to watch all episodes at once. This is an Amazon series that’s getting a weekly release. It does seem strange considering it’s the final season, but this is likely to encourage people to watch the show and talk about it. After all, this was one of the more expensive shows on the streamer.
The first episode is dropping on Friday, Feb. 17. This isn’t like most other Amazon shows where we get a bulk of episodes at first. Amazon is following The Peripheral’s way of releasing content, with one episode every week.
Update: Carnival Row will be released two episodes per week so the finale is on Friday, March 17.
There are 10 episodes to this final season. That puts the finale date at Friday, April 21. There’s no reason for Amazon to take a break over Easter weekend like the broadcast networks will as people can stream the episodes whenever they want.
This season is a must-watch. It’s picking up with where we left things in the first season. The fae has been confined to Carnival Row, and it’s clear that the humans will execute without trial. That’s only going to lead to the fae being disenfranchised and will lead to a revolution, and Vignette is leading it.
Carnival Row Season 2 is coming to Prime Video on Friday, Feb. 17.
