As we enter a new month, we see very little change on the list of most read Amazon books for the week. One Colleen Hoover book did climb well, but there was very little substantial change on the list.

When you look at the list of most read Amazon books between Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, it does look like there was a fair bit of change. Then you look at it in more detail and realize that there is nothing new on the list. The change was books between themselves, and very little climbed or dropped a significant amount.

Colleen Hoover’s It Ends with Us was the biggest climber on the list, gaining seven spots to get back into the Top 10 comfortably. Will it climb back up again?

However, It Starts with Us dropped two spots to land in 13th place. Verity and Reminders of Him held steady.

A small change to the Top 3

One of the first things we check on the list of most read Amazon books is the Top 3. That didn’t change all that much. Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus remained in the top spot. It has gained popularity in recent weeks thanks to BookTok.

The change was two of the Harry Potter books. Order of the Phoenix gained a spot while Sorcerer’s Stone dropped a spot. That’s not surprising as readers work through each of the books again. Deathly Hallows gained a spot lower down, getting into eighth place and knocking The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose down a spot.

The other biggest mover was The Boys from Biloxi by John Grisham. It dropped four places, landing just outside the Top 10.
