DVD releases happening this week: The Menu and more
The Menu is just one of the DVD releases happening this week. Are you looking for comedy, drama, horror? You’re covered on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
While there aren’t many DVDs coming out this week, there’s a great selection of content. There is something for all interests, whether you’re in the mood for historical fiction or you need a good crime drama to check out.
The Menu is certainly one of the big releases that you’ll want to check out first. It stars Ralph Fiennes, Anna Taylor-Joy, and Nicholas Hoult. For those who love outrageous horror movies, this is one for you.
Tyler invites Margot to an exclusive restaurant located on a remote island. That should raise red flags in the first place, and it doesn’t take long for Margot to realize that something is off. The meals all seem to inflict some sort of psychological torment on all the rich diners. Is it a scheme to get revenge on the rich?
Till, My Life Is Murder, and more
You may think you know all about Ernest Till and the fight for justice for his murder. There is another movie out, and it comes to DVD and Blu-ray this week. You’ll want to turn your attention to Till.
The movie follows Mamie Till-Mobley as she seeks justice for the murder of her 14-year-old son. The boy was killed by white supremacists who beat him and threw him in the Tallahatchie River, where he died. Of course, a mother isn’t going to just let his murder go unanswered, and she uses the Civil Rights Movement to raise awareness and share her grief with the world.
How about a TV series? If you love light TV crime dramas, you’ll want to check out My Life Is Murder. The third season is available on DVD this week. Alexa Crowe continues to solve crimes that the police can’t get to the bottom of while enjoying her new hobbies and dealing with family.
