Will Hunters be renewed for Season 3 by Amazon?

Hunters Season 2 is now available to binge-watch on Prime Video. The big question for many going in is whether there’s a third season coming or not.

We’ve waited patiently for the second season, and that second season is now available. Hunters brings us the hunt for Adolf Hitler, with Jonah forced to get the gang back together. Of course, Meyer Offerman is still around, but how is that possible when he’s supposedly dead? That’s something to find out by watching.

Before you get into the season, you’ll want to get an idea of the ending. Will it be some major cliffhanger that we’re left wondering about forever? Could we get answers in a third season? What are Amazon’s plans?

Hunters is ending with Season 2

There is some bad news for those who want a third season of the series. It’s not going to happen.

You may have suspected it when it took almost three years to get the second season. Amazon has opted to bring the show to an end. We got the announcement of that at the same time as the premiere date.

However, it sounds like the show has wrapped up the story. We won’t know without binge-watching all the episodes, and we’re not about to share the ending here! No spoilers in this post! However, we have hope that the series has wrapped up the hunt for Hitler.

Why would Amazon cancel the show? It is possible that the long wait has led to this. Amazon will have seen how the long wait affected the likes of The Wilds and Undone. Instead of ending with a cliffhanger and then leaving fans hanging, Amazon may have gone to the writers to get them to adapt the ending to bring the story to an end. Or maybe it was the creative team that decided two seasons is enough.

Either way, there isn’t going to be a second season.
