There were plenty of new books joining the list of most sold Amazon books last week. A new Karin Slaughter book is one notable addition.

There’s no doubt Karin Slaughter fans keep an eye out for new releases. It shouldn’t be that surprising then to find out that Girl, Forgotten entered the list. It entered in 15th place, marking the highest new addition to the list last week.

It was joined by Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica and Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt entering the list for the first time. And we can’t overlook A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas reentering the list. What about the movers further up the list?

Desert Star up, Mad Honey down

Let’s start with the biggest move up the list. Desert Star by Michael Connelly gained 11 places last week, getting back into the Top 10. It shouldn’t be surprising considering it was one of the reentries on the list of most read Amazon books last week.

Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult & Jennifer Finney Boylan was the biggest drop of the week. It lost nine spots, dropping out of the Top 10. It wasn’t the only notable loss, though. Fairy Tale by Stephen King lost four places, only just holding onto a Top 10 spot.

Meanwhile, the Top 3 changed. Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus gained a spot to take over the top spot, knocking Colleen Hoover’s It Starts with Us down a spot. It Ends with Us gained two spots to get back into the Top 3, though. Verity gained three spots to get back into fourth place.

As for the fifth spot in the Top 5, that was all about Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. It gained four places to claim the spot.
