How is Al Pacino in Hunters Season 2?
Al Pacino is back in Hunters Season 2 despite his character dying in the first season. How is he coming back into the series?
It’s been three years since we got the first season of Hunters. That wait has been long, and it’s been even harder with a lot of secrets being kept. We didn’t even know when and where filming was happening.
Something else that we didn’t know about was whether Al Pacino would return. His character, Meyer Offerman, was killed. At least, that’s what we were left to believe. He’s back for the second season, but how is that going to work? This isn’t a supernatural series.
How Al Pacino will return in Hunters Season 2
We can only work with the trailer that was recently released. It seems to tell us just how Pacino’s character is back.
Of course, there is a chance that Offerman wasn’t killed in the end. Maybe Jonah couldn’t go through with it. However, we thought that reveal would have been made at the end of the season if that was the case. Instead, we left the season believing that Jonah had killed Meyer after the big reveal.
If Meyer was killed, how is he back? Based on the trailer, it looks like he’s going to be a figment of Jonah’s imagination. Is he a ghost in Jonah’s head getting Jonah to go after the remaining Nazis? Is it a dead Meyer who is encouraging Jonah to go after Hitler?
That would all certainly make a lot of sense. Finding out that Meyer was actually the Wolf was a huge blow. Jonah didn’t want to kill him, but it looks like he made that decision and there will be some guilt from doing that.
We’ll get to find out very soon, but take a look at the trailer for now:
Hunters Season 2 is on Prime Video on Friday, Jan. 13.
