There’s a new series in town. FOX is bringing a new crime drama Alert: Missing Persons Unit. This procedural premieres on Sunday, Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. It’s a chance to check out the new series, which will then air on Mondays at 9/8c on FOX starting on Jan. 9.

This series follows two detectives in the Missing Persons Unit. They were married, but the kidnapping of their son left their relationship broken. They don’t want others to go through what they’re going through, so they head up the Missing Persons Unit. Each episode is the two finding another missing person, with the hope that one day, they’ll find their son.

Is Alert: Missing Persons Unit on Prime Video?

Will the series come to Prime Video? There is some bad news. This is a FOX show, which means Alert will stream on Hulu the following day.

Is there a chance that FOX will ever get it? Don’t rule it out completely. We have seen other streamers get broadcast shows. Just look at New Amsterdam recently heading to Netflix despite it being on Peacock.

We have some good news, though. Alert: Missing Persons Unit is likely to come to Amazon Instant Video. This is where shows and movies go to buy or rent them online. Broadcast shows tend to head to Amazon Instant Video within 24 hours of episodes airing.

However, this is a new series. It could take a few days for the listing to be added, meaning you might not get the first couple of episodes right away. When it is available, get it as a full season and have all the episodes added to your Amazon Library as soon as they’re ready.
