We start the new year with a bang when it comes to DVD releases. Black Adam is one of the movies heading to DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
What better way to start the new year than with some great movies and shows to add to our DVD collections? While there is a small amount of content arriving this week, it’s all about the quality. Sure, there are only seven titles arriving, but there are some you’ve been waiting some time for.
We start off with the release of Black Adam. This is one of the best DC movies in recent years, and there’s no doubt you’ve been waiting to add it to your DVD collection. You soon can, and Dwayne Johnson is not a disappointment in this titular role.
Prey for the Devil, Star Trek: Prodigy, and more
For those who want a horror movie, there’s a lot of luck. Prey for the Devil is one of the DVD releases happening this week. This movie follows the church as the priests have to do more exorcisms. It’s supposed to be only for priests, but there’s a nun who also starts doing the job.
When she realizes that there’s a demon she has a history with, this nun goes to work in getting rid of it.
For the Star Trek fans out there, the new series Prodigy is coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week. This Paramount+ series is set several years after Voyager, with a rogue group of teenaged aliens discovering the abandoned U.S.S. Protostar. This rag-tag crew work together to reach the safety of the Federation’s Alpha Sector. It’s a great series for the younger viewers.
