Carnival Row Season 2 is not coming in January 2023

We are most definitely ready to return to The Row. What’s going on? When will Carnival Row Season 2 premiere on Prime Video?

Can you believe it’s been almost three and a half years since the first season dropped on Prime Video? Carnival Row Season 2 has been filmed since then, but we’re still waiting for the episodes to arrive on the streamer.

The bad news is that we won’t get it right away in the new year. The good news is we don’t have to wait too long. Amazon has set the release date, and we’re ready for it.

When will Carnival Row Season 2 come to Prime Video?

There isn’t that much longer to wait for the second season to arrive. Amazon has confirmed that the premiere will air on Prime Video on Friday, Feb. 17.

Yes, it’s a premiere. This series is getting a weekly release, but that’s not to prevent it from being canceled. It’s potentially to help space out the fantasy content that Amazon still has to bring. After all, we’re still waiting for The Wheel of Time Season 2, too!

Carnival Row Season 2 is going to be the final season. It sounds like the writers were able to bring things to a conclusion for all the characters. The delay to film due to the pandemic didn’t help matters, and that may have been when everyone realized it would have to be the final season.

It’s not the only show ending after a long wait due to the pandemic. Hunters Season 2 will arrive in January, and that’s going to be the final season, too. Shows that were able to get back to filming pretty quickly and air new seasons have stood a better chance. Just look at The Boys landing a fourth season.

Carnival Row Season 2 will premiere on Friday, Feb. 17 on Prime Video.
