Louise Penny was the highest new addition on the list of most sold Amazon books. There was plenty of change to start off the run-up to Christmas.

In the run-up to Christmas, there tends to be a lot of change on the list of most sold Amazon books. This is the time people are buying for friends. Or they may be buying for themselves to make sure they have at least one thing to look forward to!

With Louise Penny releasing a new novel, it wasn’t surprising to see it enter the list. A World of Curiosties was the only new addition to the list of most read books last week, but it was the top of five new additions on the most sold list. It claimed the second spot on the list, with It Starts with Us by Colleen Hoover holding onto the top spot. Hoover’s It Ends with Us moved down a spot to remain in the Top 3.

New Gregg Olsen enters, Barbara Kingsolver moves up

After a few weeks on the list, Barbar Kingsolver’s Demon Copperhead gained a good amount of spots during last week. It moved up eight spots to get into sixth place. Could it get into the Top 5 this week?

Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus is also finally getting the attention it deserves. It gained four spots to get into seventh place.

What about the new additions? We Lie Here by Rachel Howzell Hall was the second-highest new addition. It just narrowly missed out on a Top 10 spot, but there is time. The Crossing by Matt Brolly entered in 14th place, The Hive by Gregg Olsen entered in 19th place, and Such a Beautiful Family by T.R. Ragan joined in 20th place.
