Not everyone is in the mood for lovey Christmas movies. We don’t all need a feel-good tale each year. There are times that we want something with action and horror. Violent Night is the movie to watch in 2022.
David Harbour stars as Santa Claus in this movie. He steps in to protect a family compound on Christmas Eve when an elite team of mercenaries take a bunch of people hostage. Who would have thought that Santa has fighting skills?
You’ll want to head to theaters to be able to watch this movie in time for Christmas. What about when it does come to DVD and Blu-ray? When is that going to be?
Violent Night DVD release date predictions
The DVD release date hasn’t been set yet. That’s not too surprising considering the movie is only just out in theaters. It’s not going to be in time for Christmas, though.
This is a Universal Pictures movie, so we’re going to look at other releases from thes same production company to get an idea as to when we could expect to see this one on DVD and Blu-ray. We’re looking at Jurassic World Dominion and Ambulance for this release.
It took about two months for the two movies to go from theaters to DVD. We’re looking at something similar for Violent Night, which means we’re looking at around Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023 for the release.
What about on Digital? This usually happens shortly after the Peacock release at the latest, which is 45 days after the theatrical release for most Universal Pictures movies. However, some releases have been within a month, so we could see the release at the start of January.
