Knives Out was a huge success. It wasn’t a surprise to hear that the team behind it wanted to make a second. That second movie is now available to watch in theaters.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is going to head to a streaming platform afterward. The question is which streaming platform that will be. Will there be any way of watching it on Amazon?

Is Glass Onion on Prime Video?

The movie is only out in theaters right now, but it will go to a streaming home. Unlike Knives Out, that is not going to be Prime Video.

Netflix is the one that will get this movie. Amazon certainly tried to get its hands on the movie, but Netflix outbid it. Will it remain on Netflix forever? That is likely to be the case, as it’s the streaming platform that is distributing it.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is coming to Netflix on Friday, Dec. 23.

Is Knives Out 2 on Amazon Video?

What about a Digital release? The movie is coming to theaters first, and it has had a festival release. While it is a Netflix movie, this could mean that it comes to DVD and Digital at some point in the future. It would make it available on Amazon Instant Video if this is the case.

There’s no guarantee of a Digital release, though. We see some Netflix movies that are released in theaters at least get a DVD release. This doesn’t always mean a Digital release. It doesn’t make sense for Netflix to make its movies available on Digital as it would take people away from the streaming platform. Amazon thinks the same thing.
