Most read Amazon books last week: Very little change

The first full week of November brought us little change to the list of Amazon books. All the movement was current books between themselves.

Every now and then, nothing new joins the list of most read books. People are happy reading the content they already have, and they’re sharing it with friends. This is one of those weeks.

The change on the list is just books moving between themselves. There was a small change to the Top 5, with Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin getting knocked out of the Top 3 and just holding onto a place in the Top 5. The Boys from Biloxi by John Grisham gained a spot to get into the Top 3.

Lord of the Rings up, Verity by Colleen Hoover down

The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien gained a spot on the list. This is somewhat surprising considering the TV series ended last month. We often see the books shows were based on drop off the list. The only reason I’m not surprised by Fire & Blood still being high on the list is the way House of the Dragon ended and the fact that the series is loosely based on the book. The Fellowship of the Ring is not used as the basis for The Rings of Power.

The biggest mover on the list was Verity by Colleen Hoover. It dropped seven places on the list, getting knocked out of the Top 15.

Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus gained three spots on the list. This put the book into the Top 15.
