Is The Calling on Amazon?
The Calling, formally called The Missing, is finally available to stream online. Where do you need to head to watch the eight episodes?
If you’re in the mood for another TV crime drama, you’ll want to turn your attention to The Calling. It comes from David E. Kelley and is based on the Avraham Avraham series of books by D.A. Mishani. Avi is a very different detective, bringing empathy to the lead role.
This first season is based on the novel The Missing File. Avi is about to doubt his own humanity as he goes through the case, and he’ll need his colleagues to help keep in on track.
Is The Calling on Prime Video?
The series is now available to stream in full. All eight episodes have dropped as a binge-watch, but is that on Prime Video? This is where we have some bad news. You can’t watch on the Amazon streaming platform.
Instead, the series has headed to Peacock. You will need a subscription there, as we can’t see Peacock and Amazon sharing any time soon.
Is The Calling on Amazon Video?
What about a Digital release? This would mean the series will head to Amazon Instant Video to buy. This hasn’t happened yet, and we have a lot of bad news.
We don’t see this series getting a Digital release. We haven’t seen any Peacock show released in this format. It doesn’t make sense for a streaming platform to release content on Digital. This encourages people not to subscribe any more since it’s possible to pay once and watch over and over again.
Bel Air did get a DVD release. Other Peacock releases haven’t. It’s hard to say if this David E. Kelley series will head to DVD and Blu-ray.
The Calling is now available to stream on Peacock.
