The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 is not coming in November 2022

We would love to see the next part of Belly’s story now that she’s sort of made her choice in love. The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 isn’t coming yet.

As much as we’d love to see the second season already, that’s not happening. Nor did we really expect it to happen yet. The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 is not on the list of November releases on Prime Video.

The show was renewed ahead of the first season. This made it possible to start the writing immediately, but that doesn’t mean the series will arrive before the end of 2022. It doesn’t make sense for this series to come out just yet, anyway.

When will The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 come to Prime Video?

We don’t yet have a premiere date. Again, that’s not too surprising. We’re not expecting the show until summer 2023, so Amazon isn’t going to give up a Prime Video release date just yet.

The first season came out in June 2022. We usually see 14 to 18 months between seasons of Amazon shows, but we’ll probably not see that happen with this show. There’s a good chance that we could see it arrive in June 2023.

The early renewal and the ease of filming and post-production for this series can be great for turnaround time. We have seen other shows manage a 12-month turnaround time in the past, such as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Bosch. So, we could see something like this happen with The Summer I Turned Pretty.

A summer release certainly makes the most sense for a show like this. After all, it is all set over the summer months. Think of it like The Kissing Booth movies on Netflix.
