Can you share Amazon Prime benefits?

As the age-old saying goes, sharing is caring…and Amazon Prime benefits are meant to be shared.  In your Amazon subscription you get some pretty great perks, like Prime Shipping, which includes free same day delivery, free one-day shipping, and free general shipping.

Another benefit is Amazon Photos, you can organize, share, and view your photos on your computer, cellphone, or tablet. You get 5GB storage for your photos on Amazon Drive, and when you run out of space, you can always purchase one of Amazon Prime’s monthly or annual storage plans. Just a note, Amazon Drive is ending next year, though. There is a move to using Amazon Photos instead.

Prime Video lets you stream popular TV and movies, as well as some amazing Amazon Originals. Through your Prime Video subscription, you can purchase additional channels, like Teletoon+, STARZ, and Paramount+ to name a few. Amazon Music lets you listen to your favorite music and podcasts at the click of a button, both online and offline. You can pick and play songs from a curated selection of All-Access Playlists created just for you.

Prime Reading gives you access to hundreds of children’s books, romances, and thrillers, on any device. Amazon Prime Gaming is also included in your benefits, and it offers in-game content for your favorite games, free games to download, and a free monthly channel subscription on Twitch.

Who can you share your Amazon Prime benefits with?

You can share all of these great benefits with up to six of your family or friends in your Amazon Household. All you need to do to share your benefits is follow a few easy steps:

  1. Visit Your Amazon Prime Membership.
  2. Go to Share your Prime Benefits section.
  3. Select Manage Your Household.
  4. Enter the name and email address of the person you want to share benefits with and select continue.
  5. You and those you share your account with must agree to share wallets in order to share Prime benefits. As an added security measure, Amazon will notify you if your invitee moves your credit into their wallet.
