Good Omens Season 2 is not coming in November 2022

Aziraphale and Crowley are coming back, but not just yet. Good Omens Season 2 is not coming in November 2022, but when will it arrive?

We’re certainly ready to see our favorite angel and demon back in action. After initially billing the series as a limited one, Amazon surprised us with a renewal. The bad news is we still have a wait on our hands.

This is not a series that’s on the list of arrivals in November 2022. We didn’t expect that, though. Not only has Amazon not promoted a release date this month at all, but we know it’s not going to arrive in 2022.

When will Good Omens Season 2 come to Prime Video?

We have to wait until 2023 to see Crowley and Aziraphale with the next world-ending event they need to stop. During NYCC 2022, the show got a panel and that was where we learned a little bit about the release plans. We’re not expecting the season until summer 2023.

That does seem like a long wait, especially when you factor the show finished production earlier this year. Gaiman did make it clear that the post-production process takes a long time. This is a series with a lot of graphics to add in, and to look good, it can take months to get just right.

Amazon will also want to get the best period for the release. Finding out it’s coming in summer 2023 is a big deal. It’s not often Amazon gives us such a heads-up about a release date. The last time it was The Lord of the Rings, to keep people talking about it. Letting us know with so much time that Good Omens is coming next summer is a great sign and suggests Amazon wants us to remember it.
