DVD releases this week: Nope, The Invitation, and more
If you’re looking for horror, you’re in a lot of luck when it comes to DVD releases this week. Nope and The Invitation are on the list.
It’s the Tuesday before Halloween. Naturally, we’re in the mood for horror, and there is a lot of good news. This week’s list of DVD releases is packed with horror or thriller content.
We do start with the release of Jordan Peele’s Nope. The movie follows the sons of a California rancher who see strange objects falling from the sky. One of those objects kills their father, and now the brothers need to get proof of these objects. Everyone around them is being affected by the UFOs, so they want to get to the bottom of it. Maybe they should just leave aliens alone.
The Invitation, Titans Season 3, You Season 3 and more
For those who want creepy, The Invitation is the movie to turn to. When Evie does a genetic test, she learns that she has an unknown side to her family. This family invites her to a wedding, but it’s anything but normal. Maybe she should have stayed home. Instead, she needs to bargain with an ancient evil.
Then we have a couple of TV shows you’ll want to check out this week. One of the DVD releases is the perfect thriller for Halloween week. You Season 3 is available to buy. It follows Joe and Love, as they try to make things work after the birth of their son. The problem is they are both obsessed, and not necessarily with each other. What happens when crazy marries crazy?
For those who are more in the mood for superheroes, Titans Season 3 is coming to DVD and Blu-ray. This season sees Jason go out on his own to prove his worth. Only he ends up dead and coming back as something a little more sinister and torturous.
