When is Black Adam on DVD and Blu-ray?

Black Adam is the latest DC movie heading to theaters. When will you be able to add it to your DVD collection? Is Black Adam coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

If you’re curious about the character, yes, Black Adam was originally depicted as a villain in the DC Universe. Things changed over the years, and now we get to see him more as an antihero or a sort of vigilante instead of the villain he was supposed to be.

The latest DC movie stars Dwayne Johnson in the titular role. The story initially takes place in ancient Kahndaq with Teth Adam being bestowed with the mighty powers of the gods. When he used the powers for vengeance, he is imprisoned and becomes Black Adam.

Now it’s almost 5,000 years later. He’s a man of myth and legend, but his story is the basis for modern-day heroes who form the Justice Society. We follow Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone.

Black Adam DVD release date predictions

We know a movie like this is going to head to DVD and Blu-ray. We need to look at other Warner Bros. movies to see what the wait time is going to be. We’re looking at The Batman and Elvis for this movie.

It took about two and a half months for the other movies to go from theaters to DVD. We’re looking at about the same wait time for Black Adam. With that in mind, we’re looking at possibly Tuesday, Dec. 27. We may need to wait for the first week of January for this release.

What about on Digital? It took about six weeks for the other two movies to head to Digital, and that’s what we’re looking at for this movie. So, with that in mind, we’re looking at the start of December at the latest.
