If you love movies that are very loosely based on history and bring a lot of entertainment, you’ll want to check out Amsterdam. It’s currently available to watch in theaters.

Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington star as three friends who find a body. They immediately become the prime suspects, and they’ll need to do everything they can to avoid capture and prove their innocence. That means figuring out who really killed the U.S. senator.

It’s all set in the 1930s, and it is very loosely based on a true story. However, this movie is all about making us laugh and keeping us entertained.

Is Amsterdam on Prime Video?

Now you’ll want to know where the movie will stream online after its theatrical release. The bad news is that it won’t be on Prime Video.

This is a 20th Century Studios movie. These movies have headed to HBO Max and Hulu after their theatrical releases. This doesn’t mean the movie will never head to Prime Video, though. Contracts change, and we could see the American comedy head to the Amazon streamer in a few years.

Is Amsterdam on Amazon Video?

The good news is there will be another way to get the movie on Amazon. It’s all about the Digital release, which means the movie will be available on Amazon Instant Video.

You’ll pay once and be able to watch the movie as often as you want. It will remain in your Amazon Library for as long as you have your Amazon account. There isn’t a set release date for the movie on Digital just yet, but we could be looking at as early as next month based on other 20th Century Studio releases.
