There isn’t long to wait to see if friendship is strong enough to defeat the devil. My Best Friend’s Exorcism drops on Prime Video tonight. The release happens at midnight UK time tonight, which is great for those of us in North America. There’s a good chance that the movie will drop early.

We could get it as early as 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. However, this is on the early side. Keep an eye out at around 9 p.m. ET for the release. This seems to be the most common release time for global originals.

What to expect in My Best Friend’s Exorcism?

The movie is based on the book by Grady Hendrix. We head back to the 1980s to see how strong friendship really is.

Abby and Gretchen have been best friends since 4th Grade. As they go into their sophomore year of high school, they expect just the usual problems. They’ll need to keep their grades up while they deal with puberty and questions about growing up. However, things take a turn for the worse one night.

They head out with a couple of other friends to a cabin for a party. That leads to something sinister happening. The next day, Gretchen starts to act differently, but this is more than just hormones causing a problem. Gretchen is possessed by the devil, but can Abby make anyone believe her?

Will Abby be able to save her best friend? Is it all too late for Gretchen? Get ready to go on a dark tale of exorcisms and the supernatural.
