What’s streaming on Prime Video this week: My Best Friend’s Exorcism and more

We see the end of a month and the start of a new one this week. Here are all the movies and shows on streaming on Prime Video this week.

The end of September brings some exciting content on Amazon Prime Video. Of course, the weekend sees the start of October, and we get that first of the month drop. There is plenty to look forward to throughout the week.

In fact, there are 137 titles confirmed coming to Prime Video this week. There are two Amazon Channels releases, but it’s not clear whether anything from them is coming to Prime Video. We do get some samples, but Amazon hasn’t been clear how they’re working recently.

My Best Friend’s Exocism, Jungle, Shutter Island, and more

The end of September sees some great releases. Things kick off with Jungle on Friday, Sept. 30. It brings a focus to UK rap culture. In a near-future London, two men are simply looking to better themselves. However, their actions soon come back to haunt them, but are they willing to face the consequences?

If you’re in the mood for a horror movie, you’ll want to check out My Best Friend’s Exorcism. Based on the novel by Grady Hendrix, the movie focuses on two best friends. When Gretchen starts to act strange at the start of their sophomore year of high school, Abby will do anything to fix the problem. What happens when that problem is being possessed by the devil?

The weekend will see some great movies coming to Prime Video. Shutter Island is a favorite for those who love twisty thrillers. Even when you know the twist at the end, you can enjoy the overall story.

If you want a horror, My Bloody Valentine is available. This is the 2009 version with Jensen Ackles (yes, Soldier Boy from The Boys). It’s basically the same story as the original series, but it’s a tropey horror movie to check out.

What about rom-coms? There are some great options, and one of those will get you in the mood for the Christmas season. 12 Days of Christmas is available to stream on Saturday, Oct. 1.
