It’s never that surprising to see a new Stephen King book make it to the list of most read Amazon books. Fairy Tale entered well last week.

Stephen King is one of the most popular authors in the world. There are certainly flaws in his book, especially with some dialogue, but we still buy his books every time there’s a new one out. And we read them as fast as we can.

Fairy Tale is the latest one out, and it entered on the list of most read Amazon books last week. It shouldn’t be too surprising that it landed in second place. Only Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens entered higher, and that’s partly due to the movie out right now.

Robert Galbraith up, Colleen Hoover down

The Harry Potter books were knocked out of the Top 3 last week. Not only did the new Stephen King book enter high, but the new Robert Galbraith novel, The Ink Black Heart, moved up 10 spots after entering the previous week.

This won’t be too upsetting for J.K. Rowling. Galbraith is her penname after all.

The upset comes for Colleen Hoover. All her books saw drops during the week. Verity was knocked out of the Top 5, while Reminders of Him was knocked out of the Top 10. In fact, Reminders of Him saw the largest drop of the week.

The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien did move up two spots, which isn’t surprising considering The Rings of Power continues to air on Prime Video. Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin remained steady, which also isn’t surprising considering House of the Dragon continues to air on HBO.
