Streaming on Prime Video this week: Goodnight Mommy and more
As we head into another new week, we take a look at the content streaming on Prime Video. Goodnight Mommy is a release you won’t want to miss.
While last week was on the quiet side, that’s not the case this week. Amazon has a couple of originals arriving. Of course, the new episode of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is going to be one of the most anticipated releases.
The fourth season is going to pick up off the back of reveals in the third episode. We’ve ended up with far more questions than answers so far, but that’s not surprising considering we’re only just reaching the halfway mark of the season this coming week.
Goodnight Mommy, Thursday Night Football, and more
Amazon announced earlier this year that Thursday Night Football would be exclusive to the streamer. That means FOX isn’t getting to air the games in the fall, and Thursday Night Football kicks off very soon. It all starts this week, and you won’t want to miss out on the x-ray content available.
What about a movie? Goodnight Mommy is the release of the week and is streaming on Prime Video on Friday, Sept. 9. This movie follows two boys who head back home to their mother who has had surgery on her face. However, her whole demeanor has changed, and the boys have to question whether this is really their mom or not. Is another woman under the mask?
Sunday will see the premiere of SEAL Team Season 6. It’s on the list of Amazon Channels samples for the month, but it’s likely just to be the first season of the series.
