After an excellent start to the story, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Episode 3 is going to be a must-watch. It arrives on Prime Video tonight.

Ignore a lot of the negative reviews when it comes to The Lord of the Rings. As expected, the show is being review-bombed purely due to the diversity of the cast. The overall story is great for old and new fans alike, and there is clearly much more of it to come. We have eight episodes in this season after all, and we already know the second season is confirmed.

The third episode will drop tonight on Prime Video. Sadly, we do have to wait until midnight ET on Friday, Sept. 9. That means 9 p.m. PT on Thursday, Sept. 8. It’s not clear why Amazon is choosing to delay the release considering we usually get releases on Thursday nights thanks to time zones working in our favor.

What to expect in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Episode 3

The episode is sure to pick up off the back of the first two. We left Galadriel in the water with her new companion. A ship had come upon them, and it looks like they will be saved. Is that really going to be the case, though? Is this someone who doesn’t trust elves? Is Galadriel in trouble, especially when nobody realizes that she didn’t go to the Elven world?

Meanwhile, Nori continues to figure out what’s going on with The Stranger. She thinks The Stranger is someone good and kind, but we’re not too sure. There is a chance that he will be a certain wizard, but there’s also other theories out there—and some aren’t so great.

Arondir was left in the tunnel, and it looks like he’s about to be captured. His captors appear to be the Orcs. Of course, he needs to get out so he can warn his people, and that will back up the humans who are on their way to the Elven tower to warn everyone the Orcs are back.
