The time has finally come to watch Matthew Fox’s return to TV. He plays Andy Yeats in Last Light, a book loosely based on the novel of the same name by Alex Scarrow.

Andy is an expert in the oil industry. When there’s a problem with oil, he’s called out to the Middle East to take a look at it. He’s supposed to be heading back to Paris the next day, but the world suddenly shuts down. The disruption in oil leads to electricity, cars, and everything else relying on the fossil fuel no longer working.

While he’s out in the Middle East, his wife and son, Elena and Sam, are in Paris getting surgery on Sam who has a progressive eye disorder. Meanwhile, his daughter, Laura, is still in London. The family needs to find a way back to each other in the midst of the crisis.

Is Last Light on Prime Video?

There is some bad news for the series. You can’t stream the episodes on Prime Video.

This is a Peacock Original Series. The only place to watch it is on Peacock, the NBCUniversal streaming platform. It’s unlikely to leave the streamer unless it has to shut down and merge with another.

What about getting the series on Digital? Will this be possible? This would mean the episodes would be on Amazon Instant Video.

There is more bad news. It’s highly unlikely that the series will head to Digital. Most shows on streamers don’t head to Digital. This encourages people to pay once for the content and watch whenever they want instead of getting the streaming platform.
