Everything streaming on Prime Video this week: More Lord of the Rings
A new week brings new content streaming on Prime Video. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is one of the biggest releases of the week.
Yes, the first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings series are already out. This series is getting a weekly release, and there’s a new episode coming this week. It’s one of the biggest releases for this week.
That does mean we’re into a quiet week. A lot of the content coming out is from Amazon Channels. It’s not all that clear how the samples are working now, as there used to be a list of releases for the first of the month running through to the end of the month. However, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to watch.
The Serpent Queen, Flight/Risk, and more
The Serpent Queen is one of the big releases when it comes to the Amazon Channels offerings. It’s unlikely that the entire season will be streaming on Prime Video when it’s a STARZ show. However, we could see the first episode available for a short period of time.
If not, it’s still going to be worth watching on STARZ. The show follows Catherine de Medici, the wife of Henri II of France. You’ve seen Megan Follows play her in Reign, and now it’s time to follow Samantha Morton in the role for this series focused on her rise to the top and how she stayed there.
Want something that’s definitely on Prime Video? The movie Flight/Risk is one of the Amazon Originals to watch. It takes a look at the global tragedy that saw two Boeing 737 Max planes crash just five months apart. The documentary gives the families of those involved in the crashes a chance to speak out.
