Amazon is adding 40 titles to Freevee today

Freevee is a great option for those who don’t want to pay for another streaming platform. This is Amazon’s free, ad-supported streamer, and there are movies and shows on offer for everyone each month.

And we mean everyone. There is something for the thriller fans out there, comedy fans have something to watch, and even families will be able to check out a few releases.

There are 40 titles coming to Freevee today, Thursday, Sept. 1. They aren’t designed to watch in one night but to check out throughout the month. Just what can you watch?

The Bone Collector, Happy Feet, Hidden Figures, and more

For the thriller fans, The Bone Collector is worth watching. This is the 1990s movie starring Angelina Jolie, Denzel Washington, and Queen Latifah. Washington plays a now-paralyzed cop who was injured on the job while chasing The Bone Collector. When the serial killer strikes again, a rookie cop teams up with him to finally solve the case.

Not everyone wants a thriller. If you want something rooted in history, you’ll want to watch Hidden Figures. This movie focuses on the women behind NASA, and it stars Taraji P. Henson and Octavia Spencer. The women weren’t just overlooked because of their gender, but also because of the color of their skin. Yet without them, America wouldn’t have made it to the moon first.

For the families out there, Happy Feet and Happy Feet Two are the movies to check out today. They follow Mumble, a penguin who can’t sing at all. He can dance, though. That’s not what his tribe wants, and they believe that Mumble is the reason for a lack of fish to feed them. It turns out that it’s all linked to something—or someone—else and it’s up to Mumble to help figure it all out.
