When is The Invitation coming to DVD and Blu-ray?
While the summer has been on the quiet side, there’s a new horror to check out. The Invitation is in theaters, but when will it come to DVD and Blu-ray?
Horror movie fans will want to head to the theaters right now. The Invitation is the latest release, starring Nathalie Emmanuel and Thomas Doherty. Emmanual plays a woman who performs a DNA test to find out about a wealthy cousin she never knew about. Not everyone wants to head to theaters to watch it to see how the horror plays out. What if you want to own it at home?
Even if you do go to the theaters, you may decide this is a movie to add to your DVD collection. So, you’ll want to know when it’s coming out so you can add it to your “to buy” list.
The Invitation DVD release date predictions
We don’t have a release date just yet. That’s not surprising with the movie only just coming to theaters. Instead, we need to look at movies from the same production studio. This is from Sony, so we’re looking at Morbius and Uncharted to get an idea as to when the movie will head to DVD and Blu-ray.
It took Morbius just two and a half months to head to DVD. Uncharted went to DVD three months after the theatrical release. It’s hard to say which one of these The Invitation will follow.
We could be looking at anything from around Tuesday, Nov. 8 to Tuesday, Nov. 22. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on that.
What about the Digital release? That was different for the two movies, too. We could be looking at anything from Tuesday, Oct. 11 and Tuesday, Oct. 25 based on the six weeks to two months that the other movies took.
The Invitation is now available to stream in theaters.
