Samaritan is coming to Prime Video tonight

Are you ready for an action movie with a superhero twist? Sylvester Stallone stars in Samaritan, and it’s coming to Prime Video tonight.

When it comes to action movies, we can always rely on Sylvester Stallone to bring something fun to watch. His latest outing is in Samaritan, a movie that was originally supposed to go to theaters. Its original release date was during the pandemic, so it wasn’t surprising to see that it was routinely pushed back before finally getting an exclusive release on Prime Video.

The time is now. The new action movie is coming out tonight. As it’s a global original, look out for it around 7 p.m. ET. However, the official release time is midnight ET on Friday, Aug. 26.

What is Samaritan about?

The movie follows Javon “Wanna” Walton’s Sam. He’s a 13-year-old boy who keeps an eye on his reclusive neighbor, Mr. Smith. He’s sure that Joe Smith is a legend, a superhero named Samaritan who reportedly died in a fire years earlier.

Now Sam just needs to get some sort of proof that Joe is this legend. That means keeping an eye out for everything that Joe does, but right now, Joe just wants to live his life in the shadows.

What happens when Samaritan’s enemy Nemesis comes out of the woodwork? Will he step up and prove that he didn’t die all those years ago? Or is it possible that Joe is actually just a normal guy who doesn’t like people?
