Who will Jeffrey Dean Morgan play in The Boys Season 4?
The Boys remains a Supernatural affair. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the latest to join the cast. Who will he play in The Boys Season 4?
Considering how much Eric Kripke talks about how good the Supernatural set was, it’s not surprising that he keeps offering roles to those from the series. We’ve seen the likes of Jim Beaver and Jensen Ackles take on roles. Now it’s time for Daddy Winchesters to get a part.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is coming into The Boys Season 4 in a recurring role, according to TVLine. Kripke had invited Morgan for Season 3, but it looked like the schedules didn’t align for that one. However, the schedules have fallen into line for Season 4.
The stars aligned partly due to The Walking Dead coming to an end. Don’t feel bad for Morgan, though. He will be in a spin-off with fellow Supernatural alum Lauren Cohen. Maybe the two of them can take some time out of The Walking Dead universe for The Boys together.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan in The Boys Season 4
Who will Morgan play? That’s the big question mark. All details about the role are being kept secret. We don’t even know if he’ll play a Supe or a vigilante. Can we find a way to make him Soldier Boy’s father?
With a recurring role, we’re looking at him being in a handful of episodes. There are only eight episodes to the season, so maybe four or five for a recurring role. That’s just a guess, though. Soldier Boy didn’t properly show up until Episode 4 of The Boys Season 3 but was in flashbacks in Episode 3, and he was a major part of the storyline for the season.
We likely won’t see Morgan and Ackles team up. It doesn’t look like Soldier Boy will return in The Boys Season 4. There is room for Morgan and Beaver to share screen time, though.
