There was a small change to the Top 3 on the list of most read Amazon books last week. there was also one new addition to the list.

It’s not often we see a big change to the list of most read Amazon books. Certain books remain popular with fans. Just look at how the Harry Potter books are almost always on the list.

Well, there was a small change to the Top 3 last week. While Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling held onto the top two spots, the third spot changed. Verity by Colleen Hoover moved up three spots to claim third place.

That did mean Hoover’s It Ends with Us dropped out of the Top 5 as everything else remained in the same order.

One new book on the list

Every now and then, a new book makes it to the list. That happened last week, with just one new addition to the list. That new addition was at the bottom of the list.

Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus entered in 19th place. This book has been on the list of most sold books for a few weeks now, so there is a chance that it will move up.

Most of the list didn’t really change. Portrait of an Unknown Woman by Daniel Silva lost the most places, losing two spots to land in 18th place. The Hotel Nantucket by Elin Hilderbrand also lost two spots but kept hold of a Top 15 spot.

Meanwhile, The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose and The It Girl by Ruth Ware both gained a spot each. Can they get into the Top 15 next week?
