To keep The Dean occupied during a scam, Greg showed him a comedy series on his phone in The Outlaws Season 2. What was that series?

Our favorite offenders pulled off a drug business we never thought possible. Rani found a way to keep the real Christian Taylor’s business going so The Dean wouldn’t kill all their families. To do that, Frank posed as a big player in the game in America just as a way to make sure the cops could catch The Dean.

Part of it involved Greg keeping The Dean occupied. What better way than showing The Dean his favorite TV show? There will now be questions about that show. After all, if Stephen Merchant thought it a good one to add into this wonderful comedy, of course it’s going to be worth watching.

Greg was watching Only Fools and Horses on The Outlaws

The show you’ll want to turn to is Only Fools and Horses. It really is one of the best British TV shows ever to air, and it remains a classic to this day. That’s despite the last episode airing on Christmas Day 2003.

The first episode aired on Sept. 8, 1981. It starred David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst as Del Boy and Rodney Trotter. Half-brothers in London, they attempt multiple get-rich-quick schemes. Well, Del Boy does, with Rodney just ending up in the middle of everything that goes wrong.

There were spin-off attempts following a few of the characters. They didn’t last as long as Only Fools and Horses, but they are worth watching if you love the characters of Boycie and the Trotters. The Green Green Grass follows Boycie and his family while Rock & Chips is a prequel to the main series.

There were some excellent actors on the series over the years, including Lennard Pearce as Grandad, Buster Merryfield as Uncle Albert, Tessa Peake-Jones as Raquel Trotter, and Gwyneth Strong as Cassandra Trotter.

Trigger is a name mentioned by Greg on The Outlaws. He was played by Roger Lloyd-Pack, who also starred in another excellent British comedy The Vicar of Dibley. Trigger does have some excellent moments on the series.
