The time has come to watch the marvelous Idris Elba on our screens once more. It’s all about Beast.

Elba plays Dr. Nate Daniels. After his wife dies, he takes his two teenage daughters to South Africa. An old family friend has a game reserve, and it seems like the best way for the family to grieve. It’s going to turn into a matter of survival, though.

A fearsome lion has decided he doesn’t want to be prey. He’s going to make the poachers prey, and he will stop at nothing.

Is Beast movie on Amazon Prime Video?

There is some bad news for those ready to watch the movie via Prime Video. This one isn’t heading to the streaming platform as part of the Prime membership. At least, not right away.

This is a Universal Pictures movie. Peacock got the streaming rights for Universal Pictures movies in 2022, so Beast is heading there first. Third-party movies do head to other streaming platforms eventually, though, so it’s worth looking out for this one on Prime Video in the future.

There is some good news. It will be possible to buy Beast on Amazon Instant Video. This is where the Digital purchases happen.

You pay once and the movie is added to your Amazon Library. It will remain there without you having to pay again, so there’s no need for a streaming platform. You don’t even need Prime Video for this. There isn’t a date for this just yet, but Universal Pictures is taking about a month or two to bring Digital releases out.
