Making the Cut Season 3 premieres this week, but not all episodes will drop at once. How many episodes are there, and when is the finale?

Are you ready to see who will win the next grand prize on Making the Cut? The journey starts this week, with the first two episodes of the season dropping on Prime Video on Friday, Aug. 12.

Yes, that means we’re getting a hybrid release for this series rather than a binge-watch. For those who don’t like that, you’ll need to wait until September to binge-watch all episodes. Don’t expect  Amazon to change the releases for shows, though, as the weekly release format is proving to be successful.

Of course, you’ll want to know when the finale is. That means knowing the number of episodes in the season.

Making the Cut Season 3 episode count

There are eight episodes in total this season. That matches the episode count for the second season. As fans will remember, the first season had 10 episodes. It’s not clear why the episode count has been reduced by two, except that it likely comes down to cost.

The episodes are getting a hybrid release that’s the same as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 and Outer Range. That means two episodes per week until the season has finished airing, so there are four weeks of new episodes. The Making the Cut Season 3 finale will air on Friday, Sept. 9.

Of course, you’ll want to look out for episodes to drop on Thursday nights. As a global original, there is a chance that we’ll get a slightly earlier release for each episode, but there’s no guarantee of this happening.
