Is Cosmic Love Season 2 going to happen at Prime Video?

Amazon is getting into the reality dating show genre. The latest attempt is Cosmic Love. What are the chances of Cosmic Love Season 2 happening?

It’s not that surprising to see Amazon try to get into the dating show space. A lot of broadcast networks and streaming platforms have had some success with this genre. We’re always interested in those looking for love. Just look at the people who tune into 90 Day Fiance and The Bachelor.

Cosmic Love is the latest attempt for Amazon to get into this genre. Has it been a success? What are the chances of the series being renewed for a second season?

The first season has only just been released. There isn’t a renewal just yet, but we are looking at whether Cosmic Love Season 2 could happen or not.

Will Cosmic Love Season 2 happen?

It’s hard to say if the series is going to be renewed or not. Amazon is still to make a decision about other shows within the genre. Recently, we’ve seen the likes of Lovestruck High and The One That Got Away come to Prime Video. None of them have officially landed renewals just yet.

This doesn’t mean renewals won’t happen, though. We’ve seen with some reality shows in the past that the renewals have happened quietly. Just look at Making the Cut Season 3. So, there is a chance we’ll see some of these dating shows renewed without Amazon making some noise about them. It doesn’t make sense when this happens unless Amazon thinks the interest is good enough to run the risk.

We’ll certainly keep an eye on the renewal chances. It’s all going to depend on how many people watch the first season in full. It’s dropped as a binge-watch, so if you want a second season, you’ll need to make sure you get to the end of the season to show Amazon that it’s an interest.
