After spending some time on Paramount+, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is coming to Prime Video. What time can you start watching the movie?

The time has come for the kids to watch Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Prime Video. It’s going to be available for free with your Prime membership rather than through Paramount+ on Amazon Channels.

Of course, the kids are going to want to watch the movie as soon as possible. That means you need to know when it will stream. Is this something for them to stay up for, or will they need to wait until later in the day?

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 release time on Prime Video

The bad news is that the kids won’t be staying up to watch this movie. The release time is midnight local. There is a chance that the movie will drop at midnight ET on Wednesday, Aug. 10, and the time zones will work in the west coast favor. Look out for the movie at around 9 p.m. PT tomorrow night, Tuesday, Aug. 9.

If the movie isn’t available early on the west coast, it will be there by midnight. From that point, the kids can watch it whenever they want until it leaves Prime Video.

It’s not clear just how long the movie is going to be on Prime Video. It’s going to be at least a month, but it will probably be available for a few months. However, you’ll want to put it on as soon as possible for the kids. At least it will be available once they wake up—and it’s summer, so you’re looking for all sorts of ways to keep them entertained!

The movie is also available on DVD and Blu-ray this week. Now is the time to add it to your DVD collection. The kids will love it.
