Sister Sage is one of the new Supes joining The Boys Season 4. Susan Heyward will play the character, but what can we expect based on the graphic novels?

You’ll know Susan Heyward from Orange Is the New Black, but it’s time for her to get some superpowers. She’ll join The Boys Season 4 as Sister Sage, a new Supe coming into the series according to Deadline.

While we wait for the episodes to arrive, we want to know as much as we can about the characters. The good thing about this series is that there’s source material. This gives us a chance to look into who the character is in the original story, although there have been changes with other characters.

Who is Sister Sage in The Boys?

We’ve seen a few characters from the graphic novels show up, and not just the main ones. Over the seasons, we’ve seen characters based on the likes of Soldier Boy, Stormfront, and more. However, a lot of these characters have changed, with just loose links to the original characters.

What’s the case for Sister Sage? Well, we can’t even look at the graphic novels for an idea of what to expect on Sister Sage. This isn’t a character based on someone from the comics. Like Firecracker, this is a character that has been created purely for the series.

All Eric Kripke will say is that the new Supes are some of the craziest that have been created. We’ll be horrified, and we may get a little nauseous. Considering what we’ve seen in the series so far, that’s going to take some doing!

We don’t know where the Supes come from or how they’re coming into the series. It was easy to assume that Soldier Boy would join The Seven, but in the end, he went up against the other Supes and tried to take down Homelander after getting payback on Payback. We can’t assume Sister Sage will join The Seven, but we’d love to see it happen.

It is possible that Sister Sage comes from the Sage Grove Center. This was the testing center introduced in the second season, and it certainly created some of the craziest Supes. Plus, Sister “Sage” and “Sage” Grove Center can’t be a coincidence, right?
