Who is Firecracker in The Boys graphic novels?

While we patiently wait for new episodes of The Boys, Eric Kripke and the team are keeping us updated with things to come. Deadline recently announced two new cast members joining the series. The Boys Season 4 will see two new female Supes, who could end up joining The Seven.

Of course, before we get into a new series, we want to know a little about the characters. The best thing to do is look at the source material, right? Well, that’s what we’re doing in this post about Valorie Curry’s new character, Firecracker.

Who is Firecracker in The Boys?

The new character is called Firecracker, and we can’t wait to meet her just based on the name. What can we expect? Well, the graphic novels aren’t going to tell us anything.

This isn’t that the character is going to be very different to the series. Unlike Stormfront, Victoria Neumann, and Soldier Boy, Firecracker isn’t even based on a character within the graphic novels. The character’s name doesn’t come up at all.

We have a character that is purely for the series, which adds to the excitement. It means we have no idea what to expect, except that as she’s a Supe, we’re expecting more trouble.

Kripke has shared that we will love the new characters. Well, we’ll be horrified and a little nauseous. Firecracker and fellow newcomer Sister Sage are some of the craziest Supes the show has added, and we know there have been some crazy Supes! It’s possible that Firecracker was raised in the Sage Grove Center, which was the testing center introduced in the second season. That’s sure to add to the craziness.
