Most read Amazon books last week: Colleen Hoover books continue to climb

While the Top 5 didn’t see a change, there was some good news for Colleen Hoover last week. Take a look at the list of most read Amazon books from July 24 to July 30.

It’s not surprising that the Top 5 of the list of most read Amazon books didn’t change. The Harry Potter books remain popular, and the release of Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens naturally pushed the book back up the list of ones to read.

However, there were changes further down the list. Thanks to the boost on TikTok, Colleen Hoover’s novels continue to remain popular. That’s certainly the case last week, with one book moving up to just miss out on a Top 5 spot and two others getting back into the Top 10.

Colleen Hoover books up, Harry Potter books down

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, The Order of the Phoenix, and The Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling all held onto their Top 5 positions, but there were changes further down the list. While The Chamber of Secrets just held onto a Top 10 spot, all the others were out. We already knew two were out from the previous week, but Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince dropped three places to land in 11th place.

Meanwhile, Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover gained three places to get into sixth place. Her other two novels Verity and It Ends with Us gained four places to get into seventh and ninth place respectively.

There were a couple of new additions, too. The 6:20 Man by David Baldacci entered in 16th place after entering on the list of most sold Amazon books the previous week. Portrait of an Unknown Woman by Daniel Silva entered in 20th place, and we could see that move up this week.
